Come To The Table

What does Come To The Table mean?

Come to the table episodes are a special we do where Jordan often sits down with either a Christian or non-Christian to discuss important questions and topics in our culture. The inspiration behind these episodes comes from the example Jesus sets in his ministry. He often used breaking bread at the table with people as a way to connect and know others. Now Jesus invites everyone to his table to know him better. In the same way Jordan believes it is important to connect with those who disagree with Christianity, but in a healthy and productive format. These episodes tend to be longer and a favorite of our audience. We hope you enjoy watching or listening to these episodes.

“May we come to the table and discover the glory and truth of God together.”

The Goodness of God

Jordan sits down with Pastor Rob Harlamert, a friend and fellow alum from Johnson University. Rob and Jordan discuss what it means for God to be “good”. How we define good is not necessarily God’s definition of good, and as Rob points out we must elevate God’s definition above our own.

Being a Good Person

Jordan invites Maurice to share his story of being raised Catholic and eventually becoming non-religious. Maurice asks why a person needs to believe in Jesus to be a good person. Jordan shares the gospel isn’t about being a good person.
